Giveaway Winners Selected

I have now selected the winners of the Giveaway and have sent them an email with what they will need to do. You should find a mail in the email you used for Gleam if you are a winner.

However, there were 2 people I was unable to send an email to. Whoever used “rter eruyiteyrui” and whoever used “als” as their Gleam name, please contact me at natsulus@hotmail.com or in the comments below or else I will assume these were fake emails or the like and you will be unable to receive anything. Don’t try to lie that you are these people if you aren’t, I will be looking for definite proof.

Prizes will be handed to the Winners on the 21st and an Announcement of who won a bit after.

BTW, 2 people were able to win twice, they’re pretty lucky.

Giveaway Complete & Answering Feedback

So the time to enter the Giveaway has now ended and with that, so has the Giveaway in question. Over the next few days I’ll pick the winners and contact them on how to pick and claim their prize. After around a week or 2, I’ll announce all winners along with the prize they received, unless they specify not to reveal them. There will definitely be another Giveaway in the future, perhaps with not as large as a prize pool as this, but still a decent size.

There are approximately 20 people who have successfully got and entered the Secret Code, which is pretty good since that about fits in the 5%-10% of people I wanted to actually be able to get it.

You can check if you entered the wrong secret code by just going to the Giveaway and check if it asks you for the Secret Code again. Same thing with Feedback as I delete all invalid Secret Code entries as well as any invalid Feedback entries (entries that aren’t feedback).

Anyone want me to translate from the LN of Magi Craft Meister instead? And if so, where should I start from (Vol 4 or Vol 1, or both).

Umaku Yasashii Sekai and Yuusha Isagi were listed as teasers and I found them on Book Live so I decided I might as well do the LN! Didn’t find any of the other teasers though.

The others looked pretty nice so I decided to check them out and might translate them if they’re good or maybe just do teasers as well. I was also looking at ディンの紋章 (Din no Monshou) but someone is already translating the WN so I decided not to get it for now. Was also very interested in ルガルギガム (Lugal Gigam) but found TheCatWalk was already translating it on BakaTsuki so I also decided not to get it for now as TheCatWalk is pretty good. Last one I looked at but didn’t get was ストレンジムーン (Strange Moon) but I might get it later depending on how I feel about what I already got so far.

Well there’s my non-chapter post done. Next post will probably be a Giveaway reminder and after that a MCM Chapter release.

• Now, I apologise for the delays with MCM. The times when I planned to do what I needed to do, something suddenly came up. Specifically cousin/s came over last weekend when I planned to do it and of course my parents only told me the night before they came. Then the weekend before that, I wake up and parents tell me we’re going on a weekend trip.
• So anyways, as long as parents don’t make something come up unexpectedly again, there’ll be MCM chapters on Friday and Saturday with at least 5 chapters total.
• I’ll be making more non-chapter posts from now on. Will be posting about the novels I just bought, later today (1:30am here). These novels I may translate, though probably only when my holidays start.
• Any ideas for domain name for new site? I was thinking of natsupro.com for Natsu Productions as I don’t plan on just hosting translations on my new site, but also my other projects. Natsu TL will be kind of like a subsidiary with subdomain tl.natsupro.com or novels.natsupro.com.

Comments:

• You can read chapters ahead of this on Nerolynx’s site but be warned that those are prior to any of my TLC or Editing and may contain mistakes.
• The kind of mistakes you can probably usually expect is wrong use of tense (Seiji is supposed to use present tense for monologue and past tense for when describing the actions taken).
• There may also be the rare translation error as well (though that might happen to me as well). Example would be in this chapter, one of the lines where Seiji is speaking was translated as Elena speaking.

TLing Otou-sama & Okaa-sama (MCM)

So from previous feedback, I’ve seen that most people prefer leaving things with honorifics alone, including familial terms. e.g. Onii-sama, Oba-chan, etc

Since I’ve been translating Otou-sama as Father and Okaa-sama as Mother in regards to when Reiko speaks, I ask if I should continue doing so cause people might be used to it, or change how I translate it to comply with leaving things with honorifics alone.

 

Offtopic: Just ordered a OnePlus 2, hoping it’s good enough for what I need it for… (playing CGSS and watching anime).

Secret Code Hint + Chatbox

So people are having trouble getting to the riddles to get the secret code… to those people I recommend looking at the comments of

as I’ve given a few hints for the riddles and directions of where to look there.

Now in the feedback from the Giveaway, a few people have suggested a chatbox. I’ve been planning on implementing one, but I will not be using the tlk.io one. I’ll be using Discord and you can find a link to the Natsu TL Channel/Server in the navigation menu. Discord has a widget but WordPress doesn’t support JSON API or iframe which the widget needs to be shown, and thus the link for now. I’ll probably push the new site out a bit earlier so I can add the widget and all the other suggestions, but the new site won’t be a completed site as I planned to release it as and will just be updated to its complete form over time.

As for chapters, soon. Was dragged away on a family trip for Friday to Sunday (only told 3 hours before we went =A=”). Monday & Tuesday I was engrossed with using Unity. As for Wednesday, I spent it setting up the Giveaway. I’ll be spending Thursday and Friday getting done the backlog of MCM and Jikuu Mahou to TLC and the rest of the Weekend for UchiNara.

Edit: I’m so glad I did this. I’ve always wanted more feedback and suggestions and this giveaway has helped to facilitate giving me the feedback and suggestions I’ve wanted to see.

Onii-sama, Onii-chan, Otou-san, Otou-sama, Nee-san, etc. Should we leave it as such or would you like us to translate them to Father, Brother, Sis, etc? Or perhaps a mix of leaving some as is and others translated? Please comment your suggestions as I don’t want to limit the details of suggestions with a poll.
