Sorry, had to scream because i already read enough japanese web novels and mangas to see that they try to use german very often but just cannot always grasp the vastness of german grammar. So yeah, the first horse should have been called Eins. Oh and thanks for translating, it makes my life a whole lot easier 😀
Yes, i know. It is just the wrong german word. It should have been Eins but it has written Ein what actually would mean ‘a’ and not ‘one’. So the author got it wrong

Maybe the author tried to use the English word “Cherry” and either misspelled it or changed it on purpose from “チェリー” to “クェリー”.

It uses the katakana for a i n, thus why I use Ein. If it was ai n su, then sure… but it’s not.
